Again, it's been way too long since I've posted. Jensen successfully finished his first year of preschool at our church and loved it! He's made some new friends there and he's excited about going next year as well. He is still very into cars and made a huge line of his cars yesterday. It winded it's way through his room in a double line. He was very proud of it. He's 4 years old and is just an utter joy!
Shawn asked Jensen this evening what he was going to be when he grew up. His answer.....bigger.
Jensen started preschool this year at our church and he is thriving! On his first day, he showed my that he learned, "Cross applesauce". Which is how they sit on the floor. He has such a huge smile for the teacher when she comes and gets him from the car (drive thru pick up and drop off, how cool is that?) and she commented today that he seem to always be smiling. Yes sir, that's my baby!

Yes! I can post again. Once a month is about all I get I guess. So, Jensen is 3 now and he's talking more and more each day. He's finally starting to make real sentences. Like tonight he told Josh, "No candy until after dinner!" so yippee. He's also really funny lately also. A couple of his latest bits....
"Mama."
"What Jensen?"
"I don't know what!"
He says this with such drama and exasperation, it's pretty cute. Well, the first 20 times he does it at least. The other thing he's doing lately is more sweet than funny. He likes to give kisses at night. But his kisses are colored. He'll say "Purple kiss" SMACK! "Red Kiss" SMACK! and so on. We go through about 7 colors before we're done kissing.
We get compliments all the time for caregivers at the gym and church nurseries. "He plays so well!" I know, he's an easy one, even for 3. Hope he stays that way.
My little man is almost 3! I can't hardly believe it. He's just getting so big! He is still very much into cars, trucks, trains, bulldozer,etc. and will frequently let you know that "No nap, I play cars!" This involves lining his cars up in various patterns across the couch. But when we can finally pry him away from his parking lot to take a nap, he likes to have certain songs sung to him. It's very cute when he sings along to his own lullaby. I think he may be my little singer, I hope so at least. He sings along to everything, including commercials. My favorite is when he sings a worship song with me and it goes..."OO are booful my seet seet song." Which translates to, "You are beautiful my sweet, sweet song." I love it!
I finally got a baby that likes Little People! I bought so many of those playsets for Josh and he just didn't really like them. Jensen loves them! He has Josh's old ones plus a few new ones. I got out the Nativity for Christmas this year and he was so excited when he saw it. The funny thing is though; he plays with them with his old play sets. It may be a little irreverent for Mary and Joseph to be traveling to Bethlehem in the school bus and the Wise men are coming to see Jesus by way of the airplane.
